Saudi Ball Mill Plant

Posted

Shanghai Clirik had contracted the design, equipment supply and construction of the iron ore concentrator of the Saudi Ball Mill in Saudi Arabia.

The project undertaken this time is characterized by high-silicon, low-sulfur and phosphorus-poor magnetite ores with high content of iron silicate and iron carbonate. The ore structure is dominated by a strip structure, and the ore structure is dominated by a granular crystal structure. Saudi lean magnetite ore are all lean magnetite ore with unevenly embedded fine particles. The average particle size of the ore iron mineral is 44.95 μm, and the average particle size of the gangue mineral is 71.20 μm. According to the nature of the ore, the beneficiation process given by Clirik engineers is: stage grinding, single magnetic separation process. Grinding in stages, sorting in stages, abandoning some low-grade tailings in advance, reducing the amount of processing for subsequent grinding and sorting operations.

When the ore is 55% to 65% of the grinding particle size of 0.074mm, the tailings with a grade of less than 10% and a yield of more than 40% can be discarded. The original ore is mainly magnetic ore, and there are a small amount of iron silicate and iron carbonate. The content of hematite and limonite is very small, so a single magnetic separation process is considered. The full magnetic separation process has the advantages of simple process, low operating cost, high iron recovery rate, and reliable process. The use of stage grinding and a single magnetic separation process to process Saudi iron ore have achieved satisfactory results, which fully proves that the beneficiation process given by Clirik is the best choice for the Saudi iron ore beneficiation production line.
